PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the position of a sheet-like material with a simple constitution, regardless of the carrying direction of the sheet-like material. SOLUTION: This carrying mechanism 1 of a sheet-like carrying material includes a feed roller 10 for sending out the sheet-like material S in the carrying direction by abutting on the sheet-like material, at least a pair of roller pairs R interposing a rotatable pressing roller shaft 40 in a shaft central part 31 and composed of a feed roller 10 and a pressing roller 30 for sandwiching and pressing the sheet-like material S by making a pair, and a carrying guide 50 having a butting surface 51 butting against the sheet end SE of the sheet-like material S and adjusting the position of the sheet-like material S. A pressing roller shaft 40 has an asymmetric structure that its axial center 41 is set in the substantially vertical direction to the carrying direction, a maximum outer diameter part 42 exists in a position dislocated to the carrying guide 50 side more than the center 32 of the pressing roller and an outer diameter becomes smaller toward both ends 43 and 44 of the shaft than the maximum outer diameter part 42 seeing in an axial center direction.
