The shutoff valve (1) has a pipe (10), which has an inner valve seat and screwing supports (13) provided opposite to the valve seat. A handle (30) is rotary attached on a shutoff spindle (20). The shutoff spindle is secured by a turning off protection against unscrewing from the screwing supports. The turning off protection is provided between the screwing supports and the handle.
