A drawing image sharing apparatus captures an image being displayed onto a first drawing object (112a) as a captured image, before displaying a drawing image of a second drawing object (112b) onto the first drawing object (112a). The drawing image sharing apparatus generates a differential image that reflects the difference between the captured image and a previous projection image, and transmits the differential image for projection onto the second drawing object.
