Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic process for treatment of keratinous materials comprising body or facial skin, nails, body hair, hair and/or eyelashes, comprising applying the cosmetic composition on the keratinous materials and optionally rinsing after an eventual pause; and (2) a washing process of keratinous materials, preferably hair, consisting applying the composition on keratinous material and optionally rinsing with water. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The composition is useful for cleaning, makeup removing and/or conditioning keratinous materials, and as shampoo for keratinous material. The composition in the form of a capillary composition is useful: for the maintenance of the hairstyle or setting e.g. shampoos, gels, hair setting lotions, lotions for brushing, and hair fixing and styling composition such as lacquer or spray, after-shampoo rinse out conditioner and non-rinse hair conditioner, for perming, straightening, coloring or bleaching; or as rinse compositions to be applied before or after coloring, bleaching, perming or hair straightening or between the steps of perming or straightening (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The composition provides good cosmetic properties comprising smoothness, softness and brightness, to the keratinous material. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition further comprises: one or more additional surfactants; an additional conditioner agent; and an additive. Preferred Components: The alkylpolyglucoside is of formula (R 1O-(R 2O) t(G) v. The mono or polyglycerol surfactant is of formula (RO[CH 2CH(CH 2OH)O] mH), (RO[CH 2CH(OH)CH 2O] mH) or (RO[CH(CH 2OH)CH 2O] mH). The non-ionic surfactants are present in the composition at 0.1-40 wt.%, preferably 5-25 wt.%. The vinylamine/vinylamide copolymer comprises 10-60 mole.%, preferably 20-40 mole.% of unit (A). The vinylamine/vinylamide copolymers are present in the composition at 0.01-20 wt.%, preferably 0.1-5 wt.%. The additional surfactants are present in the composition at 0.1-20 wt.%, preferably 1-15 wt.%. The additional conditioner agents are silicones, cationic polymers (both preferred), poly-alpha -olefin, fluorinated oils, fluorinated waxes, fluorinated gums, carboxylic acid ester, mineral, vegetable or animal oils, ceramides and/or pseudoceramides. The additional conditioner agent is present in the composition at 0.001-25 wt.%, preferably 0.005-10 wt.%. The additive is: fatty alcohols having 12-26 carbon atoms; polymers different from the polymers; vitamins, perfumes, pearling agents, thickeners, gelling agents, trace elements, softener, sequestering agents, alkalizing or acidifying agents, preservatives, sun screens, anti-oxidants, anti-hair falling agent, antidandruff agent, antigrease agent and/or propellants. The medium comprises at least a constituent of water, and hydrophilic organic solvents comprising alcohols, preferably monoalcohols and polyols having 1-6 carbon atoms, and glycol ethers.
