Ball (1) for use in a sporting activity comprising a body having an electrical circuit (21) on a substrate (20) received therein. According to the invention the substrate is a flexible substrate. This makes the electrical circuit more shock absorbing. Further the substrate carries the antenna (23). This allows bending of the antenna. The antenna can be folded in multiple directions allowing transmission of signals in all directions.
