PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for managing an optical cable are provided to easily confirm a target optical cable through each terminal and electronic tag of a distributed network. CONSTITUTION: In correspondence to the number of optical cables, plural electronic tags(30) records intrinsic identifier information. A terminal(20) obtains the corresponding optical cable information of a work target through work indication data of a server(10). The terminal confirms an electronic tag having the intrinsic identifier information identical to the optical cable information. The terminal transmits work result report data to the server, and the server receives the work result report data from the terminal. |
