PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest with its appearance and its yield improved while the deformation of an opening and the protrusion of urethane after the foaming of the urethane are prevented. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the headrest 100, a foaming stock solution is injected into a cover 101 and foamed. The cover 101 has an injection opening 105, a bag-shaped body part filled with a foamed elastic member 104, and an annular belt part 106 which is installed to extend from the injection opening 105, formed in the shape of a belt to surround the injection opening 105, and folded inside the body part in the injection opening 105 and the cover 101 is attached to a foaming mold 200. The foaming stock solution is injected from the injection opening 105 into the body part. Force is applied in a direction to be separated from each other at a position deviated from the end on the injection opening 105 side and on the interior side of the annular belt part 106 to close the end part on the opposite side of the injection opening 105 of the annular belt part 106, and the foaming stock solution is foamed with the force applied.
