[Also in Groups VIII and XVII] In a machine for making cellular fillers for boxes or building panels (see Group XVII) cross partition elements 21 in a magazine 20 are fed into engagement with the slots of strips 10 of cardboard &c. by a vertically reciprocating pusher plate 22. The plate 22 has a recess 55 for engaging the upper edge of the foremost element 21, the element being guided in its downward movement by springs 57 on the magazine and teeth 34 on the plate. The magazine may be swung clear of the plate 22 for access as shown in Fig. 4. |
