The device (10) has a turning device (7) for turning a product stack (3b) provided with a container part (23) such that an open side of the container part is upwardly oriented after turning. The turning device is formed around a horizontal axis and around an angle of 180 degrees, and has a restraint unit for preventing products from being fallen during a turning process. The turning device has a rotational axle arranged above a transport path (1), and pivots the stack around its center of gravity. The turning device has a carrier (13) arranged parallel to a transport direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for packing of stackable products in a container. |
