Distributor for a pneumatic distribution machine

The machine has distribution lines (4) connected to a distributor head (1) and spaced apart from a feeder line (2). A shut-off valve (6) is inserted into a ring-shaped distributor chamber (5) and made of air permeable material or sieve-like material. Lateral ends (9) of the valve are arranged and spaced apart from inlet openings of the distribution lines and/or side walls (7) of the chamber such that air from the feeder line passes to the openings through a space between the lateral ends and the side walls. The valve is shaped as a non-concentric cylinder segment relative to the chamber.
