PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow insert molding to be carried out without attaching an extra resin to a surface of a terminal fitting, in a terminal fitting with a projecting part formed on a tab projecting from a housing within terminal fittings. SOLUTION: A core 30 adhering tightly to a formation surface (upper surface) of the projecting part 22 from an embedded position in a housing 10 to a front position relative to a back end face 12S of a fitting recessed part 12 is attached to the terminal fitting 20. The tab 21 and the front end of the core 30 are fitted in a holding hole 42, an opening of the holding hole 42 is closed by the core 30, whereby intrusion of a molten resin into the holding hole 42 is restricted, and the molten resin is prevented from adhering to the tab 21 in the holding hole 42.
