The machine has a tool plate (10) receiving a set of two laying elements (20) of different parts (30) i.e. unintentional line-crossing alert type sensor, where each element is positioned on the plate by a positioning unit. The elements are maintained in a place by a maintain unit (50) i.e. knuckle joint device, on the plate and individually dismountable of the plate. The parts are assembled on a common structure i.e. deflector. The laying elements position the parts assembled with respect to the structure. A support surface (25) of the element receives the corresponding part to be assembled. An independent claim is also included for process for assembly of series of automobile parts assembled on a common structure.
