<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment agent for ink jet textile printing that can provide printed matters on fabric with high color-developing properties and less bleeding, and also to provide an ink jet textile printing method using the pretreatment agent. <P>SOLUTION: The pretreatment agent for textile printing contains at least water, polyvalent metal ion and polymeric fine particles. The polymer fine particles are an acrylic polymer and have a glass transition temperature of -10°C or less, an acid number of 50 mg-KOH/g or less, and a particle diameter of 50 nm or more and 5 μm or less when determined by light scattering of the polymer fine particles. An ink jet textile printing method for printing on fabric by an ink jet system includes a pretreatment of the fabric with a pretreatment agent previous to printing of ink on the fabric, The printed matters on fabric using the pretreatment agent are also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
