<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a planographic printing plate which effectively prevents development scum from being generated even when an alkali developing solution with relatively low pH is used for developing many sheets, and ensuring stable development even when an aged planographic printing plate original plate is used. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming a planographic printing plate includes, in this order, an exposing step of image-exposing a positive planographic printing plate original plate including an image recording layer having a lower layer containing (A) an infrared absorbing agent and (B) an alkali-soluble acrylic resin, and an upper layer containing (C) a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble polyurethane resin and (D) a phenolic resin, sequentially on a support; and a development step of developing the image-exposed positive planographic printing plate original plate by use of an alkali aqueous solution of pH 8.5-10.8, which contains an anionic surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
