<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire which obtains a sufficient load at a distal end and prevents a distal end portion from being twisted or bent as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The guidewire 10 includes an outer coil 60 having a taper coil portion 64 with an outer diameter reduced gradually toward a distal end of a core shaft 14 and an inner coil 50 which encloses a distal end side part of the core shaft 14 in the outer coil 60. The rear end of the inner coil 50 is located on the side of the distal end beyond a position where the taper coil portion 64 has the largest outer diameter in the outer coil 60 and is joined only to the core shaft 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
