<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device, capable of saving energy of semiconductor devices including a bootstrap diode. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device controls driving a high voltage side power device and a low voltage side power device that are totem-pole-connected. The semiconductor device includes a high voltage side drive circuit including a circuit load and controlling the high voltage side power device, a low voltage side drive circuit for controlling the low voltage side power device, a VCC terminal that is connected to the low voltage side drive circuit and gives a power supply potential of the low voltage side drive circuit, namely a VCC potential, to the low voltage side drive circuit, the bootstrap diode that includes an anode connected to the VCC terminal and a cathode connected to the high voltage side drive circuit, and is used for charging a VB potential, namely a power supply potential of the high voltage side drive circuit, and a device of interrupting the circuit load before the VB potential becomes smaller than the VCC potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
