<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter cooler for an electric vehicle, which is capable of diagnosing whether a cooling system has an abnormality or not by utilizing a cooling water temperature sensor and an inverter temperature sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A water temperature sensor 23a for detecting the temperature (Tb) of cooling water W and an IGBT temperature sensor 13c for detecting the temperature (Ta) of an inverter 13 are electrically connected to an EV-ECU 17. The EV-ECU 17 is equipped with a threshold value storing section 31 for storing a temperature threshold value to be compared to the difference value of each of the signals Ta, Tb, and a torque variation width threshold value to be compared to the variation width of an instruction torque signal IT; and an abnormality diagnosing section 33 for diagnosing that the cooling system has an abnormality when the variation width of the instruction torque signal IT becomes lower than the torque variation width threshold value, the difference value becomes higher than the temperature threshold value and predetermined time elapses in this state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
