<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce molten steel without developing problems such as out of quality or excessive quality of a steel product, even in the case of mainly using low-grade iron scrap, when the molten steel is produced by using molten iron and iron scrap as the raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the molten steel is characterized in that decarburize-refining is performed with a converter by using the molten iron and the iron scrap as the raw material, and when the molten steel having the targeted compositions is produced, to the range of targeted composition values temporarily decided based on the needed quality characteristics of the steel product, the concentration of tramp-elements of the molten steel in the converter is calculated from the component compositions and masses of the molten iron and the iron scrap charged in the converter, and the ranges of the targeted composition values preliminarily decided based on the influence on the material characteristics with the tramp-elements are revised, and the refining condition and the adding amount of a composition adjustment agent in the converter are controlled, and the adjustment is performed in the converter so that the molten steel components are controlled to be in the range of targeted component values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
