<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element of which upper and lower conductive glass substrates can be stuck together at room temperature in manufacturing a photoelectric conversion element cell, and which is excellent in adhesion strength and reliability in moisture resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing agent 5 contains, as essential components, one or more compounds selected from a group consisting of a compound having a glycidyl structure, a compound having a cyclohexene oxide structure, a compound having an oxetane structure, and a compound having a vinyl ether structure, and a cationic polymerization initiator.
