PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus capable of maintaining an antenna property in an open state. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 has: a first circuit board 19 which is disposed in a first case 3 and has a first ground pattern 19g; an antenna 23 which is disposed in the first case 3 and connected to the first ground pattern 19g; a second circuit board 41 which is disposed in a second case 5 and has a second ground pattern 41g; and a conductive second sheet metal 43 embedded in the second case 5. In a connecting part 6, a metal member 51 is disposed. The metal member 51 has an enclosure 57 capacitively coupled with the first ground pattern 19g and an extension 59 extending from the enclosure 57 to the inside of the second case 5. The extension 59 has a first portion (first long parts 67A and 67B) abutted to the second sheet metal 43; and a second portion (second long parts 69A and 69B) abutted to the second ground pattern 41g.
