PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-type beverage vending machine certainly discharging, even a refrigerant having leaked from any part of a refrigeration cycle outside a machine body, without scattering or leaving it inside the machine body. SOLUTION: A compressor 36 and a condenser 37 of the refrigeration cycle 13 are disposed inside a machine chamber 17; an evaporation coil 27 is disposed in an ice-making machine 12 located outside the machine chamber 17; and the compressor 36, the condenser 37 and the evaporation pipe 27 are connected by connection pipes 38, 39. The machine chamber 17 has sealability to the inside of the machine body 11, and has breathability to the outside of the machine body 11. The connection pipes 38, 39 are passed through heat insulating tubes 41; one end of each heat insulating tube 41 is airtightly installed to the evaporation pipe 27; and the other end of each heat insulation tube 41 is opened into the machine chamber 17. The refrigerant leaking from a connection portion between the evaporation pipe 27 and the connection pipes 38, 39 is lead into the machine chamber 17 by the heat insulating tubes 41, and is discharged to the outside of the machine body 11 from the machine chamber 17.
