PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire gauze holding member for construction capable of fixing a wire gauze for construction such as a bird-preventing net easily. SOLUTION: The wire gauze holding member for construction 1 comprises a first plate part 2 extending in a strip-like shape, a second plate part 3 opposite to the first plate part 2 with a prescribed interval, and a groove part 4 formed between the first plate part 2 and the second plate part 3, wherein a plurality of protrusions 5 protruded toward the groove part 4 are provided in the first plate part 2 and the second plate part 3 along the direction of the length of the wire gauze holding member for construction 1.
