The disclosed power transmission device (11) for a four-wheel-drive hybrid vehicle includes a front/rear-wheel driving-force distribution means (21) that distributes and transmits, to front wheels (91) and rear wheels (93), the rotary power that is output from an internal-combustion engine (31) and a rotary electric machine (32). At the time of braking the vehicle, the front/rear-wheel driving-force distribution means (21) creates: a rear-wheel disconnected state in which the front/rear-wheel driving-force distribution means (21) is disconnected from the rear wheels (93); a front-wheel connected state in which the front/rear-wheel driving-force distribution means is connected to the front wheels (91); and a regenerative state in which the rotary power from the front wheels (91) is regenerated by the rotary electric machine (32).
