PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate of an impregnated and coated Japanese paper tape for a rubber-based adhesive using tape which does not drop working efficiency by improving the remaining paste of a rubber-based adhesive tape on an adherend. SOLUTION: The substrate of an impregnated and coated Japanese paper tape is produced by coating the surface of a piece of paper of a machine-made Japanese paper which is impregnated with a resin mixture containing a styrene-butadiene resin having a resin glass transition temperature of -30°C or less of 50% or more and preferably 70% or more at a solid weight ratio with a resin having a resin glass transition temperature of 0°C or more.
