PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of preventing resolution reduction of a pickup image even when an image sensor provided with solid imaging elements having different sensitivities is used. SOLUTION: A demosaicing unit 109 obtains a color component of a pixel captured at a first sensitivity by interpolation calculation using color components of pixels captured at the first sensitivity around the pixel concerned. The demosaicing unit 109 obtains a color component of a pixel captured at a second sensitivity by interpolation calculations using color components of pixels captured at the second sensitivity around the pixel concerned.
