PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a first communication unit, which can communicate with the outside by means of electromagnetic induction, and a second communication unit, which can communicate with the outside by means of radio waves, to be easily integrated within a case. SOLUTION: A recording tape cartridge 10 comprises: a first communication unit, which can communicate with the outside by means of electromagnetic induction, and which is provided with a case 12 which houses a single reel 20 whereon a recording tape T is wound, a first element section 112 which is provided on a base member 104 housed within the case 12, and a first antenna section 106 which is provided on the base member 104, and is electrically connected with the first element section 112; and further comprises a second communication unit, which can communicate with the outside by means of radio waves, and which is provided with a second element section 114, which is provided on the base member 104, and a second antenna section 108, which is provided inside the case 12 and is electrically connected with the second element section 114.
