PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller that has a function of displaying the trajectory of an actual machining point, using a tool radius compensation vector controlled by the numerical controller. SOLUTION: A command unit 11 analyzes a block of a machining program, calculates a tool radius compensation vector, and makes a driveshaft control unit 12 to make a tool of a machine tool 20 move in a machining path by the machining program, according to a movement command compensated by the tool radius compensation vector and position feedback information from shaft motors 21x, 21y, 21z, 21A and 21B. A tool radius compensation vector acquiring unit 13 acquires and feeds to an actual machining point calculating unit 16, with the data of the tool radius compensation vector being calculated by the command unit 11. The actual machining point calculating unit 16 calculates data on the position of an actual machining point from the tool radius compensation vector data and the data of tool center coordinate values, and an actual machining point display unit 17 displays an actual machining point trajectory, according to the actual machining point data.
