PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high-frequency magnetic field measuring device which detects a high-frequency magnetic field using Faraday effect and which can make stable measurement in a wide frequency band without finely separating of peaks of a resonance line. SOLUTION: The high-frequency magnetic field measuring device includes: a static magnetic field generator for ferromagnetic resonance effect; a magnetooptical crystal which exhibits Faraday effect to static magnetic fields and high-frequency magnetic fields; a polarization scanning means which scans the crystal with polarization; a polarization detecting means which detects the rotation angle of the polarization surface of polarization transmitting the magnetooptical crystal; a signal detecting means which detects a specified frequency component from the output of the polarization detecting means; and a display means which synchronizes the output of the signal detecting means with and displays a scanning signal. The magnetooptical crystal has a ferromagnetic resonance full width at half maximum in a range of 300-2,000 A/m. The ratio of Gd in (BiYGd)<SB>3</SB>Fe<SB>5</SB>O<SB>12</SB>(=[Gd]/([Gd]+[Y])) is set to 20-90%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
