<p>Provided is an elevator device that can detect wild movements of passengers. Without requiring a specialized terminal or the like, the provided elevator device allows a wildness threshold, for determining the presence or absence of wild movements, to be accurately set via a simple process. A test image is displayed on a display in an elevator car in a prescribed state, in which there are no moving bodies inside the car, and a camera takes a picture of the inside of the car. The difference in brightness between an image at that time and an image taken by the camera in the aforementioned car state is computed, and a counting unit counts the number of detection units for which the brightness difference exceeds a brightness difference threshold. The number of detection units counted by the counting unit, as above, is used to set an appropriate wildness threshold which a wildness determination unit uses to determine the presence or absence of wild movements.</p> |
