A device for manufacturing an absorption structure, the device being capable of relatively easily adjusting the amount of supply of an absorptive dispersive material and also adjusting the region to which the absorptive dispersive material is to be supplied, and the device also being capable of intermittently supplying a fixed amount of the material without exchanging a measurement roller even if the type of the absorptive dispersive material is changed. A supply device (14) comprises: a measurement roller (17) which rotates in one direction and has, on the outer peripheral surface thereof, a containing section (32) into which a predetermined amount of an absorptive dispersive material (13) is inserted; a supply section (24) in which the absorptive dispersive material (13) is stored and which supplies the absorptive dispersive material (13) to the containing section (32) of the measurement roller (17); a scraper (25) which is disposed along the outer peripheral surface of the measurement roller (17) at a position downstream of the supply section (24) and which inserts into the containing section (32) the predetermined amount of the total amount of the absorptive dispersive material (13) supplied to the containing section (32); a supply chute (40) which temporarily contains the absorptive dispersive material (13) inserted in the containing section (32); and an openable/closable shutter (20) which forms a part of the peripheral wall which defines the supply chute (40). The measurement roller (17) is rotationally driven in one direction by a rotation drive means (19) through a rotating shaft (18). The opening and closing of the shutter (20) are controlled by an opening/closing operation means (21). The rotation drive means (19) and the opening/closing operation means (21) are electrically controlled by a control device (22). The configuration causes the rotation drive means (19) to be rotated at a speed corresponding to the conveyance speed of a continuous sheet (11) and also causes the opening/closing operation means (21) to be opened and closed according to the conveyance speed. The absorptive dispersive material (13) temporarily contained within the supply chute (40) is intermittently supplied on to the continuous sheet (11).
