<p>The invention relates to a method for controlling a machine for cutting masks for protecting a part of a vehicle, which comprises the following operations: - displaying on a display unit the makes, models and versions of vehicles for each of which the contours of masks for protecting several bodywork components are recorded in a database; - detecting a data item regarding choice of a vehicle and displaying on the display unit several distinct representations of the corresponding vehicle, each representation comprising regions corresponding to protection masks recorded in the database; - detecting a data item regarding choice of mask and modifying the aspect of at least one region of the representations displayed as a function of this data item regarding choice of mask; - detecting a data item regarding validation of choice of mask and recording the masks selected last in a list of masks to be cut out, and for each mask of the list of masks to be cut out, addressing data for controlling cutting of the mask considered to a mask cutting machine.</p> |
