<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal suppressing power consumption while maintaining user friendliness through simple function settings by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal is equipped with: a computation means for measuring power consumption within a reference period and computing available power within the reference period from the measured power consumption and a predetermined power saving rate; a determination means (S205) for determining whether or not used power in the portable terminal exceeds the available power within the reference period; and a restriction means (S211) for restricting use of any function that the portable terminal has, if it is determined that the used power exceeds the available power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
