<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amphiphilic block copolymer which has increased hydrogen ion conductivity even at a high temperature of 100°C or higher and exhibits high thermal/chemical dimensional stability, and a method for producing the same, and a membrane for fuel cells utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The block copolymer includes PSEK [poly(arylene sulfone ether ketone)] as a hydrophobic moiety and PSSAN [sulfonated poly(styrene-co-acrylnitrile)] as a hydrophilic moiety and is produced by the steps of: modifying PSEK with a PSEK macro initiator; synthesizing a PSEK-b-PSAN [poly(styrene-co-acrylnitrile)] block copolymer by allowing the PSEK macro-initiator to perform copolymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile; and performing sulfonation of the PSEK-b-PSAN block copolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
