<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling DPF regeneration precisely determining regeneration timing by correcting a dispersion in differential pressure caused by a different in the amount of SOF when determining differential pressure between the front and rear of a DPF. <P>SOLUTION: Time from completion of the DPF regeneration to the next DPF regeneration is counted, the inlet temperature of the DPF during the time is detected, and SOF time (t<SB>L1-n</SB>) when the inlet temperature of the DPF is lower than temperature (T<SB>SOF</SB>) produced in PM by the SOF (soluble organic fraction) after the completion of the DPF regeneration is integrated. Next, the differential pressure between the front and rear of the DPF is detected, the upper limit of the differential pressure between the front and rear of the DPF is corrected based on the integration value of the SOF time, and the regeneration timing is determined by comparing the corrected upper limit with the differential pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
