PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device that guides a route through a navigation system to a vehicle running on the guide route, while associating the travelling speed with a passable intersection with signal. SOLUTION: When the navigation system determines that a vehicle running on the searched guide route stops at an intersection with signal, the navigation device 40 associates an optimal speed for travelling a specific section between one intersection with signal and another one without stoppage, with specific section data concerning the specific section, extracts the specific section-optimal speed data of the specific section having an end point of the specific section on the guide route, from a specific section-optimal speed storage section for storing the specific section-optimal speed data while setting the intersection with signal where the vehicle stops as a starting point, and then, specifies the optimal speed associated with the extracted specific section-optimal speed data as a display running speed to guide information concerning the display running speed.
