PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid film having excellent gas-barrier property, especially water vapor barrier property without deteriorating biodegradability and useful as a packaging film, and a laminate film, a metallized film and a packaging material produced by using the polylactic acid film. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid film has a layer A as at least the outermost layer, wherein the layer A contains a polylactic acid resin composed mainly of components derived from L-lactic acid in an amount of≥90 mass% and≤100 mass% based on 100 mass% of the total components of the layer A, the crystallite size determined by a wide-angle X-ray diffraction (reflection method, 2θ-θscanning method) of the layer A is 10-20 nm, and the density of the layer A is 1.2-1.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
