PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of a main electric servo motor driving a load. SOLUTION: The hybrid servo system includes the main electric servo motor 11 having an operation rod 23 having one end 23A connected to the load 25 and driving the operation rod to the axial direction, a main hydraulic cylinder part 12 having a main piston 36 mounted on the other end 23B of the operation rod 23, a sub hydraulic cylinder part 13 connected to the main hydraulic cylinder part and having a sub piston 42, and a sub electric servo motor 14 built in the sub hydraulic cylinder part and including a direct acting type electric servo motor driving the sub piston 42. The operation rod 23 of the main electric servo motor 11 can be operated through the main hydraulic cylinder part 12 by oil pressure from the sub hydraulic cylinder part 13 by operation of the sub electric servo motor 14.
