PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a risk that a structure of a stator for a brushless motor becomes complex. SOLUTION: The stator has a stator core and an exciting coil provided on the stator core. The stator core includes a plurality of first core pieces 41 and one or more second core pieces 42. The first core pieces 41 are stacked in the direction of the center axis Zr of the stator. The second core pieces 42 are stacked with the first core pieces 41 in the direction of the center axis Zr. The second core pieces 42 has a base 43 which contacts the first core pieces 41, and extensions 45 which is continuous to the base 43 and extends in the direction of the center axis Zr facing the side circumferential parts of the plurality of first core pieces 41 stacked.
