PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device of an engine, capable of keeping a load applied to an intake flow control valve lower at abrupt acceleration and enhancing reliability of the intake flow control valve. SOLUTION: In a case in which abrupt acceleration is performed from a third operation region A3, in which an intake flow control valve 40 is controlled to keep a valve closing state and closing timing of an intake valve 19 is controlled to be within a time period during which an intake blow back is present, to a second operation region A2, in which the intake flow control valve 40 is controlled to keep a valve opening state, until the acceleration is terminated, at least one control is performed among a control in which a valve opening speed of a throttle valve 50 is made slower than that at slow acceleration and a control in which a valve opening start timing of the throttle valve 50 is delayed than that at the slow acceleration. Alternatively, at least one control is performed among a control in which a valve opening speed of the intake flow control valve 40 is made faster than that at the slow acceleration and a control in which a valve opening start timing of the intake flow control valve 40 is made faster than that at the slow acceleration.
