PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp structure in which there is no invasion of a metal into a light-emitting space on both sides of the electrode end part between a pair of metal foils in a discharge lamp wherein the pair of metal foils are arranged so as to pinch a spacer glass in a light-emitting tube, the rear end part of an electrode is inserted between the pair of metal foils and joined to respective metal foils, and a metal is sealed into the light-emitting tube as a light-emitting material.
