PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high-function and high-performance direct memory access transfer without increasing load on a CPU or circuit scale. SOLUTION: The system includes a direct memory access unit and a processor unit. The processor unit includes a memory and a processor which writes an instruction to be executed by the direct memory access unit to the direct memory access unit by reading the instruction from the memory and executing it. The direct memory access unit includes: a plurality of program counters, a selection means which successively selects the plurality of program counters, an instruction holding means which holds the instruction written by the processor, an output means which outputs an instruction stored at an address of the instruction holding means indicated by the program counter selected by the selection means; and an execution means which executes data transfer by direct memory access in response to the instruction output by the output means.
