The invention relates to a rotor comprising an axle, a set of stacked magnetic metal plates, an alternating current polyphase winding passing through the set of metal plates, and a bandage surrounding each coil head. In the rotor, at least in one of the coil heads, the bandage is respectively divided into at least two parts separated by a determined axial distance, thereby defining a radial channel enabling a radial flow of cooling air between the respective parts of the bandage metal band.
