Disclosed is a chiller-type air conditioner that can perform a dehumidification operation with one refrigeration cycle without increasing equipment cost. The air conditioner is provided with two heat-transport-medium pathways: a first heat-transport medium pathway (8a) through which water or brine circulates and that is formed in a loop by connecting with pipework a first interior heat exchanger (61a) disposed in a space (60) to be cooled and a first use-side heat exchanger (28a) disposed exteriorly; and a second heat-transport-medium pathway (8b) through which water or brine circulates and that is formed in a loop by connecting with pipework a second interior heat exchanger (61b) disposed in the space to be cooled and a second use-side heat exchanger (28b) disposed exteriorly. Also, in the air conditioner, a common pipework (65b) is incorporated wherein a portion of the pipework configuring the first heat-transport-medium pathway is used in common with a portion of the pipework configuring the second heat-transport-medium pathway, and the air conditioner has a configuration wherein a heat-transport-medium circulation pump (67) is incorporated in the common pipework.
