<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window regulator which saves space, reduces the size of a bracket provided with a drum, shortens a wire, and hardly causes malfunction in submerging of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 63 and the drum 65 are mounted on the bracket 61 fitted to a vertically intermediate part of a guide rail 53. The wire 67 is arranged from the peripheral surface of the drum 65 on the side of the guide rail 53 to an upper guide 57 and then to a lower guide 59.
