PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an elevator, capable of reducing wiring material manufacturing cost of a cable, by reducing a power source line of the cable connected to a relay apparatus, without requiring complicated wiring work. SOLUTION: This connector includes a relay connector fitted to a peripheral equipment external part connecting connector of peripheral equipment, fitted to a cable end connector of a cable end part connected to the relay apparatus and securing the electric continuity between the peripheral equipment and the relay apparatus. The relay connector includes a plurality of peripheral equipment side power terminals to be respectively connected to a plurality of power terminals of the peripheral equipment external part connecting connector respectively connected to power source lines of a plurality of internal apparatuses arranged in the peripheral equipment, a relay apparatus side power terminal to be connected to a common power terminal of the cable end connector connected to a common power source line of a smaller number of cables than the power source line of the plurality of internal apparatuses and a short-circuit part for short-circuiting the plurality of peripheral equipment side power terminals and the relay apparatus side power terminal.
