<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to use any function for measuring time such as a timer or counter in a device having such a role that shortens time to be spent on data transfer, and that relays the data transfer between devices connected via communication lines whose transfer speeds are different. <P>SOLUTION: A DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) 11 in a transmitter transmits a frame at a communication speedα, and an NIC (Network Interface Controller) 12 in the transmitter transfers the frame at a communication speedβwhich is slower than the communication speedα. A controller 15 instructs the DRAM 11 in the transmitter to divide data into N pieces of frames, and to transmit the data in the order of first to N-th frames. In this case, the lengths of the first and second frames are determined so that time from completion of first frame transmission to completion of second frame transmission in the DRAM 11 in the transmitter and time from start of first frame transfer to start of second frame transfer in the NIC 12 in the transmitter can be made almost the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
