<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source system enabling operation at high efficiency when a plurality of variable speed turbo refrigerators are operated. <P>SOLUTION: The heat source system 1 includes: the plurality of variable speed turbo refrigerators 11, 12 each having an inverter-driven turbo compressor with variable rotational frequency; variable speed cold water pumps 21, 22 provided in the variable speed turbo refrigerators 11, 12, respectively, sending cold water to an external load 3 and variably controlling a flow rate of the cold water; and a control part controlling the respective variable speed turbo refrigerators 11, 12 and variable speed cold water pumps 21, 22.
