LOW-SWELLING RESIN MOLDED ITEM HAVING WELDED PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded item that exhibits excellent tenacity, particularly tensile elongation at low temperatures and has a welded part suppressed in swellability. SOLUTION: The low-swelling resin molded item has a welded part composed of a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of a resin component comprised of 88-78 wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide resin (a) and 12-22 wt.% of an olefin resin (b) bearing a functional group and, incorporated therewith, 0.1-10 pts.wt. of an alkoxysilane compound (c) bearing a functional group, where the molded piece of the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition has such morphology that the olefin resin (b) bearing a functional group is dispersed with a number-average dispersed particle size of at most 500 nm and a molded piece obtained by crushing the molded piece followed by another injection molding has such morphology that the olefin resin (b) bearing a functional group is dispersed with a number-average dispersed particle size of at most 500 nm.
