PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist handle capable of being reduced in size than ever in width and thickness directions. SOLUTION: In this assist handle 30, a handle portion 35 and a pushing portion 38 are assembled in a movable state to a base portion 31 which is attached to a door end stile 18 of a glass door 13. In the glass door 13, a resistance peak position, in which initial motion resistance reaching a peak value in the nonuse of the assist handle 30 exists between a seal separation position in the separation of a seal member 25 from a standby protruding wall 22 of an opening/closing port 10 and a closing position of the glass door 13. A pushing stroke of the pushing portion 38 is set so that an assist end position, in which the pushing portion 38 is separated from an inside surface 10H of the opening/closing port 10, can be disposed between the resistance peak position and the seal separation position.
