PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker monitoring device, capable of surely detecting a flow start of control current upon throw-in of a circuit breaker based on the current of a power source of the circuit breaker. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker monitoring device which monitors operation of the circuit breaker includes: a control element serially connected to a throw-in switch connected to a power line, to which a control current for controlling input of the circuit breaker is carried when the throw-in switch is turned on; a current generation circuit serially connected to the throw-in switch and also connected in parallel to the control element, the circuit generating, when the throw-in switch is turned on, a pulse-like current for detecting throw-in of the circuit breaker at the start of flowing of the control current; and a detector which detects the throw-in of the circuit breaker based on the pulse-like current.
